Food Allergy Information from a the Manager:

Q: Can you please provide a brief statement about the importance of food allergen safety at your restaurant?

A: Allergies in general are super important and affect the lively hood of people. My mom has a lot of allergies so it is a stand out issue.  We take proper precautions in our restaurant,for example, not contaminating a fryer or contaminating pans or tongs.

Q: Do you have any procedures for those with food allergies?

A: We ask that they let the waiter know. We are very safe here and if you have food allergies we ask you to be up front.

Q: According to the FDA the Top 8 food allergies are: Dairy, Eggs, Fish, Crustacean shellfish, Tree nuts, Peanuts, Wheat and Soybeans.  Do you use these ingredients in your restaurant and is it safe for someone with this allergy to eat at your restaurant?

  • Dairy: Yes we use dairy, we do not have substitutes but can exclude from dish.

  • Eggs: We do use eggs in the kitchen. There are options without.

  • Fish: Yes, we have fish.

  • Shellfish: Yes, we have shellfish.

  • Tree nuts: Yes we use nuts on the cheese board and in some dishes on and off. Most are prepared to order so notify server and we can work around it, unless it is already included in the dish, we cant exclude.

  • Peanuts: None currently. (This could change)

  • Wheat: Yes, we do use a lot of wheat. We take all precautionary measures in our power. We do not prep both wheat and wheat free at the same time. They are done separately. Nothing with gluten or wheat goes in to the fryer.

  • Soy: Not using much, occasional soy sauce.

In addition to food allergies, we also provide recommendations for restaurants that have food for other dietary restrictions. Please comment below if you have options for the following dietary restrictions.

  • Gluten free: We do have some gluten free options.

  • Keto options: High protein. We have many protein options. We would have them elaborate what they are looking for.

  • Vegetarian and Vegan options:We have both Vegan and Vegetarian options. Salads are easiest but we do have mushroom and asparagus risotto. A tofu bowl that is vegan. If someone comes in that is strictly vegan, if they throw out ideas, we are willing to put something together when time is possible. The more open the diner the more willing we can accommodate the individual.
