Food Allergy Information from a the Manager:
Q: Can you please provide a brief statement about the importance of food allergen safety at your restaurant?
A: We take food allergies very seriously. Servers are trained to ask if there are any food allergies; the kitchen needs to know. If guests make reservations they can let us know about food allergies.
We make a lot by scratch. The line cook knows what is in what. Some items are impossible to work around.
Q: Do you have any procedures for those with food allergies?
A: Let your server know as soon as you sit down. We completely try our best and hardest to work around food allergies. Our chefs are proud of this and take this very seriously.
Q: According to the FDA the Top 8 food allergies are: Dairy, Eggs, Fish, Crustacean shellfish, Tree nuts, Peanuts, Wheat and Soybeans. Do you use these ingredients in your restaurant and is it safe for someone with this allergy to eat at your restaurant?
A: We can cook with different oil and isolate the food on a single pan and wear gloves.
Dairy: Yes, we use dairy but can work around this allergy. We have dairy free vegan
Eggs: There are a lot of options without egg.
Fish: Yes we use fish but are able to work around it.
Shellfish: Yes, and we are able to work around it.
Tree nuts: A couple items but inform server and they tell kitchen. The kitchen will say yay or nay.
Peanuts: A couple items but inform server and they tell kitchen. The kitchen will say yay or nay.
Wheat: Gluten free options available or things can be made gluten free.
Soy: Yes, but can work around this.
